Introduction

You are about to provide certain personal data to us by using the application system operated by YouNoodle, Inc, 221 Pine Street, Floor 5, San Francisco, CA 94104. Before you enter personal data, carefully read this Data Privacy Statement.

We recognize that you may be concerned about the data you provide to us, and how we treat that data. Thus, protecting your privacy and ensuring that your personal data is held securely is very important to Mondelez Deutschland. We have developed this Data Privacy Statement to address those concerns and to explain to you what personal data we collect and how we use, process and disclose such personal data. This Data Privacy Statement will apply when you use the application system and is applicable to data collected by YouNoodle, Inc. and shared with Mondelez Deutschland and its affiliates globally for use by these companies worldwide. What type of personal data do we collect?

During the application/registration process, you will have to submit certain personal data and information to YouNoodle, Mondelez Deutschland and its affiliates. Personal data means any data related to an identified or identifiable person. During the application process, you will be asked to provide the following data: your name, email, phone number, as well as your company’s name, website, address, founding date, legal form, facebook page, twitter handle, as well as information on what type of user data your company is collecting and where it is storing that data. We also ask you to provide a short pitch of what your company is doing as well as a slide deck outlining details on your product or service, current traction, monetization strategy, milestones, investors, funding status and other information related to your application. As long as personal data is concerned this Data Privacy Statement and the Data Privacy Statement of YouNoodle Inc apply.

We only collect personal data from individuals who provide it to us voluntarily and knowingly, such as by applying for the Shopper Futures program via YouNoodle, Inc.

We also collect non-personal information on an ongoing basis when you use our website. The collection of this non-personal information is done through “cookie” technology. You can find more information on that in our Cookie Policy. Please ensure that your web browser settings reflect whether you agree to accept such technology. If you do not wish to accept such technology you may have to adjust the privacy settings of your web browser accordingly.

How we process and use your personal data

You are providing personal data to apply for the Shopper Futures program. The data will be used by Mondelez Deutschland to assess qualifications and fit to determine if it meets our innovation needs. We may use your personal data in order to respond to your questions and requests and to communicate with you about your activities on these sites.

You will also have the possibility to let us know if you would like to receive a newsletter by email. We will confirm this and obtain your consent separately with a double opt-in functionality and won’t be sending unsolicited spam.

Who do we disclose your personal data to and why

We will make your personal data available to selected employees of Mondelez International and its affiliates worldwide responsible for and in connection with the Shopper Futures program as well as to carefully vetted third party business partners who provide services to us strictly in connection with the Shopper Futures program.

Mondelez International is a globally operating company and your application may also be interesting for other enterprises of the Mondelez International group of companies. Thus, when submitting your personal data to us, you agree that such data may be passed on to or made available to Mondelez Deutschland and its affiliates some of which are based in countries outside the country in which you are located or where the Shopper Futures program will take place (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). Please note that such countries may have less stringent data protection laws compared to the country from where you submitted your personal data. However, all Mondelez International affiliates are required to comply with an internal privacy policy which requires that steps are taken to protect your personal data and that it is only used for the purpose(s) for which it was submitted by you.

How do we keep your personal data secure and private?

Mondelez International maintains reasonable technical, physical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Only authorized Mondelez International employees and service providers’ staff as set out herein will be authorized to have access to your personal data. To the extent third party service providers have access to your personal data; Mondelez International has entered into contracts to make sure that your personal data remains secure and private.

 

How long do we keep your personal data and can you check or delete your personal data

Your personal data will be kept by Mondelez International only for as long as is reasonably necessary taking into account any legal requirements under applicable laws.

Your application data on our application systems will be kept until you are accepted by Mondelez Deutschland or for the period of time defined below if you have not been accepted. A different privacy policy will apply, as part of a contract between your company and Mondelez Deutschland, if and when we decide to work together.

If you have applied for the Shopper Futures program but have not been accepted we will inform you and retain your personal data for future collaboration unless you choose to withdraw your data at that point.

Updating your Information

If you wish to verify, correct, update or delete any of your personal data collected through our application system, you have the following options:

  1. Access your application system personal profile (if already set up), review and change your data or require deletion of your profile.

  2. Request deletion of your application profile at Mondelez Deutschland by sending an email to hi@shopperfutures.de.

  3. Request the deletion of your application profile at any time from YouNoodle, Inc by sending an email to support@younoodle.com.

Please note that by requesting deletion of your profile, you are no longer participating in the application process of the Shopper Futures program. In this case there are no further obligations or liabilities on the side of Mondelez Deutschland Services GmbH & Co. KG and its affiliates.

Google Analytics
